  1. Audrey Rose Wadsworth


Audrey Rose Wadsworth, more commonly known as Audrey Rose or Wadsworth, is the protagonist and main point of view of the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. She has the ambition of becoming a forensic pathologist and is in a relationship with Thomas Cresswell. She is a progressive woman who strives to show that women can be just as strong as men. Therefore, she is highly determined, always eager to find the answers. As well as a fiery temper when provoked. Before being spent at the Romanian Academy of Forensic Science and Medicine, she was not allowed to experience freedom because of her hypochondriac and paranoid father and subsequently is reluctant to relinquish any of her freedom or independence. Therefore, she does not want anyone or any male to decide for her or make choices on her behalf.

2. Feyre Archeron

Feyre Archeron (pronounced: Fay-ruh[4]) is the High Lady of the Night Court and the first-ever High Lady of Prythian.

She was originally a mortal but was resurrected as High Fae by the seven High Lords after her death Under the Mountain. For some time, Feyre resided at the Court of Dreams in Velaris after leaving the Spring Court, but during A Court of Mist and Fury, and due to the events in Hybern, she returns to the Spring Court. In the conclusion of the trilogy, Feyre has once again taken up residence in Velaris, reigning over the Night Court as High Lady alongside Rhysand, her mate, husband, and High Lord of the Night Court.

3. Katy Swartz

Katy Swartz is a girl that moves from Florida to Colorado, gets involved with aliens, and turned into a hybrid. She is the main character of the Lux series. The story is told from her point of view in the majority of the books.

Katy is portrayed as a spunky teen who is just trying to get through high school. Equipped with a sharp tongue, Katy happily lobs verbal grenades at Daemon, engaging with him head-on, demonstrating her strength of character. She finds comfort in reading different books and updating her book blog, Katy’s Krazy Obsession, and gardening since she finds it be calming. She cares for all of her friends and will stick up for them no matter what the circumstance. She loves her mother deeply and hates doing anything that would make her upset. She is very kind, strong, and takes care of her family and friends.

4. Serene Lacroix

Serene is content with her life. Working at an antique shop she opened with her best friend and living with her fiancé, Will, Serene thought her life was fine. Until she unearths a photo of a group of men, including a man she had dreamed of the night before. BEFORE seeing his picture. Then, everything changes. Serene finds herself in the year 1912 married to the infuriating Etienne. The man in the picture. Can Serene get back to her time? Or is she falling for the brooding man she’s married to?

While this book is a romance, there is a lot of mystery and suspense thrown in that kept me on the edge of my seat. I was so obsessed with this romance and was freaking out about that ending! If you want a romance that seems impossible but you won’t be able to put it down, you have to pick up The Surviving Trace!

5. Sydney Sage

Sydney Katherine Ivashkov, born Sage is a former Alchemist, a human charged with keeping the vampire world a secret from humans.

Sydney is a 19-year-old former Alchemist. Sydney is the middle child of three. She has an older sister, Carly Sage, and a younger sister, Zoe Sage. She was raised to think that all vampires are evil creatures of the night, even Dhampirs and Moroi, who are peaceful by nature.

Sydney has layered dark golden-blond hair that reaches just past her shoulders (although it grows longer and longer throughout the series) and brown eyes that turn gold in the light. According to Adrian, her eyes are molten gold when she stands in the light. Sydney is about 5’7″ in height. She wears expensive makeup, applied to give her a natural look. As an Alchemist, her cheek adorns a golden lily tattoo infused with vampire magic, however, in Silver Shadows it is seen to have bits of silver in it.
