It has been a while since I read a retelling of Robin Hood, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Hood is just a novella, so it does not go into great detail but gives some important background on the main characters. This is definitely a fast-paced read that you can devour in one sitting! Hood gives us insight into the backstories of the characters, especially Robin. It’s the prequel to the Outlaw series and definitely makes me want to read Everything I Do (the first in the series).

My rating is 4\5 stars.
