City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments #2) By Cassandra Clare Review.

Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry Books

Publication Date: 1st September 2015

Genre: Young Adult Fantasy

Source: Amazon

I really enjoyed the second book of the series. It was a nice development for the storyline. I was just as hooked as I was in the first book. I hate that I ship Jace and Clary but they can’t be together. I can’t wait for the reveal that they aren’t brother and sister ( sorry I have seen the TV Show). And I remember how much I hate Valentine so much. I can’t wait for the next book.

My rating is 4/5 stars.

“You could have fooled me. Everytime I called you, Luke said you were sick. I figured you were avoiding me. Again.”
“I wasn’t. I did want to talk to you. I’ve been thinking about you all the time.”
“I’ve been thinking about you, too.”
“I really was sick. I swear. I almost died back there on the ship, you know.”
“I know. Everytime you almost die, I almost die myself.”
