Six of Crows was a masterpiece. No book is perfect, but this one came pretty freaking close. The moment I started to read I was immediately captured.
Each character had an amazing, in-depth backstory that explained them so well. I never felt like one of the six main characters was ever two-dimensional. Leigh Bardugo worked her writing magic and once again I am very attached to every character. I loved Kaz he is such a sassy and badass character and so is Inej. I ship them so badly they are the perfect power couple. I think they are so similar and that’s why there is such a great match. I loved to entire book so much.
Now, onto the plot. I mean, they had me at heist But also many of my favorite BookTubers reading it and loving it. I’m sure you can guess from the review thus far that I believe Bardugo did an amazing job with every aspect of the plot.
Alongside the plot comes the world and the building and strengthening of said world. However, the new city of Kerch and Ketterdam were described and developed so well. And I think it was done exceptionally well.
The book was fabulous and I hate that I have finals now. Goodbye Reading, See you in July.
My rating: 5/5 stars.
